Dad's Rock!

As mentioned yesterday, FAMILY is very important to the Geweke organization. I thought what better way to show some love on this Valentine's Day than to snap a photo of this sign on Ernesto Perez's door (one of our finance manager's at Ford). Ernesto is a father of 5 kids. He works Wednesday through Sunday and manages to come in on his days off to check in on finance deals. He spends as much time with his kids as possible. As we all know, a dedicated employee is often flanked by a dedicated support system which would be his wife, Serina. Ernesto was a HAPPY guy after the superbowl as he is originally from New York (you would understand if you saw his street clothes when he comes in on his off days - he often times looks like he should be singing rap with his ballcap cranked to the side and his Brooklyn t-shirts). Ernesto knows what it's like to work with his family. His sister is our female sales consultant, Desiree Pomales. 

Our customers love Ernie and his pizzaz! He makes everyone feel comfortable during the finance process and everyone seems to even have fun while signing papers!  Ernesto has been with Geweke since June, 1999.

The Start of Something New

Nan's Notebook and Geweke Horsepower has been a blip on the idea radar since April 21, 2009 - the first day that I was officially hired (as an adult, part-time) to Geweke Auto Group. Once coming onboard full-time for Geweke in November 2009, this blog kept getting pushed back with higher priorities and other Geweke concerns. I kept thinking "who would want to know what's going on with our busines?" Now, I realize, with all we have going on in the showroom, through Pink October and in the community; I realize that we have a lot to share with all of you!

We consider it our "Geweke Culture"...our balance of the "4 F's" - Faith, Family, Fitness and Finance. Our associates (never employees) follow these "4 F's" to keep balance in their life because we at Geweke think your job is much more than just the actual labor that you put in 40+ hours a week. We like to share all the fun things that we do around here including supporting our community, sharing recipes, what our associates are up to and even some of our terrific customers! We hope you will join our journey!
